Overview

Online Social Care diploma Course. This nationally accredited qualification is designed to increase the professional development and confidence of individuals that are either new to working within a care environment or are keen to gain the knowledge and understanding needed to help them seek employment within the sector in a supervised role.The Cache Level 2 Diploma course covers many issues including a wide appreciation of what to expect within the sector as well as focusing on important areas such as person-centered care, safe working practices, duty of care and safeguarding.

It is made up of three pathways: Generic, Health and Social Care, Dementia, and Learning Disability and is a must-have for all those undertaking the Level 2 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship.

Students will need to be working or volunteering in a practical placement. An important part of this course requires assessment of skills in a real working environmen

All students must complete 9 Mandatory units from group A regardless of which pathway is selected.

Student are then required to choose one of the three routes from below

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
