Learning objectives

After completing this course the student should be able to access the relevant regulations applicable to HSE internal inspections and audits. They should be able to implement HSE measures within their companies, advice on the handling of hazardous chemicals and take the necessary measures to avoid polluting the internal or external environment. Furthermore they should be able to describe the construction of an internal audit system and the required documentation of obligations, quality assurance, and the implementation of such systems. They will also be able to perform non-compliance records and non-compliance corrective measures and prepare instructions and routines for handling injuries and accidents.

Description

Target group

Personnel responsible for planning, development, and safety performance of working operations, and personnel responsible for safety and inspection of equipment. The course is also recommended for safety delegates, supervisors, equipment inspectors or administrative personnel who need to acquire skills in HSE for company audits.

Qualifications

This web based course is in accordance with the guidelines from The Norwegian Oil Industry Association and covers the official Norwegian syllabus for Technical College, Petroleum Technology Faculty. The course is equivalent to 37 hours of normal tuition in this subject.
