Overview

Get your board of directors fit for the future. This in-house workshop will take your board (and if required your senior team) through a process to help them understand the role and responsibilities of being a director. Never has there been a greater need to perform in the role to secure the future of your business.

Description

Please see below an outline of what this workshop could cover. However, we will adapt this to suit your individual company requirements.

The four hour workshop will explore:

  • What are the legal responsibilities of director
  • How to run board meetings as opposed to management meetings
  • What should your future board composition be
  • Understanding how to get the best from your board members who have multiple roles, ie shareholder, manager etc.
  • How to protect you and your company from increasing litigation

Please note there is no formal assessment or exam for this course.

Who is this course for?

This programme is perfect for board directors and senior managers (maximum numbers are 15 people). Delivery will be either virtual via Zoom or in person, dependant on Government restrictions at the time.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
