We Got Coders is a specialist web development consultancy based in London and Bedfordshire that work with start-ups, agencies and Government. We provide professional full stack web developers with expertise in the Ruby programming language.

Our approach is to work with talented, motivated and enthusiastic individuals, who are looking to get into web development, and to provide the necessary training and paid work experience required for them to get into the Ruby on Rails market.

Hiring the best of our intake, we put our money where our mouth is and work alongside our trainees on client projects, pairing senior-level developers with junior developers to ensure that our consultants get the support they need and our clients has access to the best of new talent.

Our market-leading training takes place in our luxury, state-of-the-art training and accommodation facility 45 minutes outside of London at the UK's only Code Retreat.

Description

6-month Fast-Track Junior Developer

The 6 months Fast-Track Junior Developer program consists of 3 months intensive training followed by 3 months paid work experience. 

The 3 months training consists of intensive, classroom-based study covering everything you need to know in order to become a successful web developer. We cover full-stack web development, including Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, Padrino, Databases & SQL, HTML5/CSS, Networking, JavaScript, Backbone.JS, Agile Web Development, Test-driven deployment and Git.

This is followed by 3 months of paid work experience in a real web development team. Trainees will be placed on-site with clients, applying their knowledge to real-world development projects.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
