Who is it for?
Our brand-new Focus Awards Accredited Level 3 course in Zoology will give you a thorough grounding in the fascinating and stimulating subject of life and living things.
This course provides an introduction to the classification, relationships, structure, and function of major animal groups (phyla). The emphasis is on levels of organization, reproduction and development, comparative systems, and a survey of selected phyla. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate comprehension of animal form and function, including comparative systems of selected groups.
Description
How will I benefit?
Focus Awards’ ‘Focus on Quality Provision’ (FQP) courses are ideal for those who are looking to gain new knowledge and skills, who may not have the time, money, or simply not need to obtain a qualification in their area of study. They are ideal for CPD courses as they still carry endorsement from a national Awarding Organisation. FQP courses are also ideal for those subjects that fall outside of the QCF and people who want to take a course as a hobby.
Are there any requirements?
Anybody with a reasonable standard of general education will be able to cope with the academic demands of the course. If you can read and write well enough to complete a job application, and have a good grasp of basic maths (add, subtract and divide) you should have no problems. The course materials are written in simple everyday language and the answers to your assignments will be completed in the same style.
In addition to the comprehensive course materials provided, you will receive a Study Guide to assist you, and, of course, you will have the support of your tutor.
