Pairview’s Financial Information (FI) Analyst programme will enable you to obtain the required skills to become an FI Analyst which demands an average annual salary of around £30,000 – £45,000 per annum. This programme is focused around the delivery of financial reports developed through analyses of large volumes of financial and operational data. It is most suitable to candidates from accounting and finance background. You will be trained to become a technical, hands-on data analyst with skills in database management, investigative analysis and report automation. You will develop the ability to identify trends, patterns and relationships within key metrics, present findings and actionable recommendations based on real business evidence. Your skills are regularly in high demand both within the finance world and other traditional non-finance sectors as a database or information analyst. It is advisable that you are actively studying towards a financial accreditation program e.g. ACCA, CIMA.
On top of being equipped with the technical and knowledge based skills, you will also gain hands-on experience through the Work Experience Project, which will allow you to work on the sample business scenarios and problems in sample business environments. You will receive the Work Experience Project once your programme is finished. The Work Experience Project is a 30-day project, and during this time period your trainers will be available to help you through your project one week after your project starts, and one week before your project submission date.
In order to enable you to be found in employer’s CV searches, we provide CV Surgery sessions to help you create your perfect CV that will help you get job offers for suitable roles. The CV surgery session is a 4-hour group session which you can join either online or on-site. Finally, when you get an interview, Pairview consultants will guide you through interview questions and provide insight into how to promote your skills and experiences. The Interview Prep session is a 4-hour group session to which you can join either online or on-site.

1. Microsoft Excel 2013 Core and Advanced Essentials | 2 days
You will attain:
- Quick tips to improve spreadsheet formatting, functionality, data searching and calculations among large data sets within Microsoft Excel
- An introduction to data analysis, reporting tools, data manipulation and searching
- An insight into simple automation of tasks using macros
2. Advanced Microsoft Excel with Visual Basic Application (VBA) | 1 day
You will be able to:
- Understand methods of data management through powerful VBA tools
- Create, store and run your macros & VBA, including working with procedures & functions, understanding objects and using expressions, variables & intrinsic functions
- Develop macros to simplify workbook practices
- Use VBA statements within Microsoft Excel actions
- Debug within the Visual Basic Editor
- Maintain and improve the existing codes
- Design interactive interfaces with form controls
3. Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and T-SQL Programming | 2 days
- You will learn how to:

- Use table expressions
- Sort and filter data
- Program with T-SQL

4. Financial Information Reporting | 2 days
