The Event Management course is designed to give the learner knowledge of how an event is planned from its inception to its conclusion.

The event market is very broad and diverse, it can include small board meetings, through to a range of larger events such as exhibitions.

The event market in the United Kingdom is estimated at approximately £8 billion in 2007 by the British Association of Conference Destinations (BACD).

Assessment

After you have completed the Event Planning course, your tutor needs to verify that you have worked through all sections of the course and successfully completed all of the Activities and Exercises. The completion certificate at the end of the Event Planning course must also be dated and signed by your tutor.
