Upon completion of the course you will receive a certificate awarded by a national awarding body such as Edexcel, AQA and OCR. We also offer UCAS points with these courses which will vary depending on the grade you receive.

Economics gives you a terminology and models to understand the world of money and finance, of employment, economic growth and international trade. You will need to get used to dealing with the specialist language of economics but you also need to be able to apply it to real life events. This course and the textbook will enable you to do this comprehensively but you will also find it useful to keep up to date by reading newspapers, journals like The Economist and by watching or listening to radio and television.

FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
