Understand Your Dog’s Mind and How to Train Them.
This bundled course offers two accredited qualifications in dog training and animal psychology at discounted rates. If you are interested in pursuing a career in the veterinary or animal care industries, these qualifications are ideal for you. Even if you are not career oriented and simply want to have a better understanding of your pet’s behaviour, the knowledge and skills learnt in this course will definitely help you easily achieve such goals.
This course in Advanced Diploma in Dog Behaviour and Training – Level 3 will educate you on dog behaviour and guide you on how to treat your dog based on its behaviour. This course will first delve into the various behavioural issues with dogs, such as incessant barking, violent digging and different acting out episodes, followed by an insight into dog psychology and what might trigger such questionable behaviours. Dogs are man’s greatest friends, which is why it is normal for dogs to experience separation anxiety while away from the owners. There is a dedicated module on separation anxiety and on how to tackle them effectively.
This course also provides solutions and methods to correct these behaviours in dogs. The course will walk you through the various principles of reward-based training to understand the role of rewards in correcting a dog’s behaviours. The course includes demonstrations on how to praise, play and relax with a dog, all the while prepping you extensively to gain control in tricky situations. The course aims to provide you with a well-grounded knowledge on dog behaviour to have a long-lasting relationship with your dog or to make progress within a related industry.
Advanced Diploma in Animal Psychology – Level 3 is a comprehensive course that has been developed to help pet owners and professionals understand animal psychology and to provide them with appropriate support. It is totally normal for pets to growl when their food bowl is taken, jump onto people, show aggression to visitors or to act out. However, it is important for pet owners to discipline their pets with regards to these aspects, which will be discussed systematically through this course. You will be taught on how to use rewards as a means to instil good behaviours in your pets and on other ways to discipline and train them. The course will also address separation anxiety, which is prevalent in most pets.
