Overview
Our Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) in Criminology and Criminal Justice is a part-time qualification, which is equivalent to the first two years of university study.
Description
The programme examines some of the most serious and interesting facets of Criminology and Criminal Justice including: criminological and psychological theory, the history of crime and punishment and the criminal investigative processes. The DipHE is suitable for those who do not want to enrol directly on to a Full BA (Hons) degree or those who are looking for more of an academic equivalent to a foundation degree.
Entry Requirements
1. Academic Entry Route
In order to satisfy the Academic Entry Route requirements for our DipHE Criminology and Criminal Justice programme you must have the following qualifications as a minimum:
- Two A-levels, or equivalent; plus
- If English is not your first language, IELTS (Academic) 6.0 or equivalent.
You will be required to pass your initial assignment set during the first 21 days of the course in order to continue with your studies
2. Open Entry Route
To apply for the DipHE Criminology and Criminal Justice programme via our Open Entry Route you must meet the following criteria:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent;
- 3 year’s relevant work experience; plus
- If English is not your first language, IELTS (Academic) 6.0 or equivalent.
You will be required to pass your initial assignment set during the first 21 days of the course in order to continue with your studies.
