Creative Imagery (Level 2)
Visualisation therapy can be a powerful and beneficial force. It teaches techniques to benefit health, to assist other natural healing processes and to reinforce positive feelings and well-being.
Visualisation is using the conscious mind to imagine positive events based on the fact that there is a close link between emotions, images and sensations.

Module 1 – Focused Thought: An old concept – A new understanding
- Explain the course philosophy
Module 2 – Listening to Yourself
- Explain the meaning of the term “Listening to Yourself” in detail
Module 3 – Overcoming Fear and Inadequacies
- Define “fear” and discuss how this feeling may be dealt with
Module 4 – Eliminate the Negative – Accentuate the Positive
- Discuss how thoughts and attitudes affect you as a person
Module 5 – Conscious Recovery and Creativity
- Summarise the need for Conscious Recovery
Module 6 – Applied Visualisation
- Discuss the statement: The programme of Creative Imagery works - if you work it
Requirements
Entry Requirements
Our Creative Imagery (Level 2) Course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about Creative Imagery and has a keen interest in the subject, plus an intention to progress a career.
- Learners will need sufficient numeracy and literacy
- Students should have access to a computer and the internet throughout your study period.
- Learners should have basic PC skills in order to navigate our Support Portal
