Overview
When faced with a fellow colleague who is in need of support it is often of great value to have some effective counselling skills. Sometimes employees need help because they are under stress, bereaved or experiencing personal or work related problems. The course is not intended to make delegates full-time counsellors, rather it's aim is to help them acquire some learnable and practical skills for workplace counselling.
Trainers background
The trainer for this course is highly qualified as member of the CIPD, Transactional Analyst Practitioner. He has over 25 years Human Rescource Management experience and is an experienced group facilitator and development consultant; Action Learning Facilitator. Other skills include experience in crisis management intervention and bullying/harassment investigations and he is registered with the British Psychological Society.
