The BA4 Fundamentals of Ethics, Corporate Governance and Business Law course takes you beyond the number crunching to all the legalities involved and required in business accounting.

Who is this course for?

Designed as an entry-level qualification for those who have virtually no accounting experience, this 5th unit of the CIMA Certificate will help to lay the foundations for any prospective accountant, bookkeeper or small business owner.

Requirements

It’s an entry-level qualification for which there are no prerequisites. However to boost your chances of success a good understanding an appreciation for Mathematics and English would be beneficial.

Career path

This course is one part of the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting which can be achieved upon completion of the four units. Students can also take their study further by taking the CIMA Professional Chartered Management Accounting qualification which can lead to a plethora of accounting roles such as finance director, financial controller and chief financial officer.
