Description
Weddings are beautiful celebration and what makes it more beautiful and totally adds excitement to it – flower arrangements. Floristry is about flower care and handling as well as floral design or flower arranging for production and commerce while wedding floristry deals solely with wedding events.
With choosing bouquets, posies, buttonholes and corsages factors to take in consideration are careful selection of flowers and designs, the season and the cost.
At the end of this course, students shall learn how to:
(1) do floral designs;
(2) make different types of arrangements;
(3) understand the importance of consultation and pricing;
(4) gain wedding planning skills; and
(5) arrange post-wedding parties.
To achieve these goals, this course shall make use of interactive materials to present the concepts of the topics to be discussed. Assessments shall be done after the entire course to check for knowledge retention and understanding.
Wedding flowers plays a major role in weddings. The colors, the smell and the vibe they exude are one of the things that give a nostalgic feeling when a couple recalls their wedding event as well as guests who attended the wedding celebration.
Floristry is a skill that is not hard to learn. Flower arrangement business is very lucrative. There are a lot of weddings out there that needs the most beautiful and cost effective flower arrangements.
