At the end of this course, students shall learn how to: (1) be aware of the causes of learning disabilities and how to diagnose them; (2) be aware of the special challenges encountered by children with learning disabilities; (3) understand the challenges of learning disabilities to the family; (4) gain insight into other challenges faced by children with learning difficulties; (5) be aware of information sharing for children with learning disabilities at the different levels; (6) understand how the environment impacts on the learning pace for children with learning disabilities; (7) be familiar with communication skills and language; (8) use confrontational and marginal communication as an alternative for children with learning disabilities; (9) create a formal course work with learning difficulties; (10) learn through senses : intellect learning; (11) simplify tasks for children with learning difficulties; (12) understand how children with learning difficulties interact with ICT; (13) assess children with learning difficulties; (14) get tips to successfully teach children with learning disabilities.

Description
Learning disability is an official clinical diagnosis by a professional, diagnosis had been determined wherein an individual diagnosed met the criteria. Mostly causes are unknown factor or factors. However being able to determine or arrive at a clinical diagnosis helps since the problem has been determined it means the next step is the resolution. There are a number of tools, strategies and approaches that can be utilized to teach children with learning difficulties.
At the end of this course, students shall learn how to:
(1) be aware of the causes of learning disabilities and how to diagnose them;
(2) be aware of the special challenges encountered by children with learning disabilities;
(3) understand the challenges of learning disabilities to the family;
(4) gain insight into other challenges faced by children with learning difficulties;
(5) be aware of information sharing for children with learning disabilities at the different levels;

To achieve these goals, this course shall make use of interactive materials to present the concepts of the topics to be discussed. Assessments shall be done after the entire course to check for knowledge retention and understanding.
