Description

Learning disability is an official clinical diagnosis by a professional, diagnosis had been determined wherein an individual diagnosed met the criteria. Mostly causes are unknown factor or factors. However being able to determine or arrive at a clinical diagnosis helps since the problem has been determined it means the next step is the resolution. There are a number of tools, strategies and approaches that can be utilized to teach children with learning difficulties.

At the end of this course, students shall learn how to:

(1) be aware of the causes of learning disabilities and how to diagnose them;

(2) be aware of the special challenges encountered by children with learning disabilities;

(3) understand the challenges of learning disabilities to the family;
