Description
Having effective classroom delivery skills means having the confidence and knowing the techniques to deliver an engaging lesson in the classroom. There are various factors that may contribute to or hinder the learning of the students. One factor that we can learn to develop and manage is the teaching-learning relationship and the communication between them. All learning from a course or training session is greatly affected by how effective a teacher facilitates and how they are able to encourage learning. And for learning to be more effective, students should also be able to communicate effectively with the facilitators their needs and understanding.
Stress management is also discussed, including long-term problems, responses to stress, effects of stress and how it can be handled properly. You will also touch upon conflict management, discussing dealing with anger, conflict handling techniques and modifying anger. Finally, mediation and negotiation in different groups, as a facilitator and training exercises will be tackled.
This dynamic and interactive course aims to optimize the benefit of education by explaining the role of communication between individuals and improve listening skills to better understand others. Be able to promote student learning by communicating the required information to students whether they are students who are interested and receptive or students who may need additional assistance to meet their learning needs.
