Overview

You will learn how to research in 2D (using drawing, collage, etc) and translate and communicate your ideas through developing your designs into Ceramics objects. You will cover all the essential skills of handbuilding, wheel throwing, surface decoration and glazing techniques.

Fridays, 10:00 - 16:30 at WAES Lisson Grove Centre

You will cover all the essential skills of handbuilding, wheel throwing, surface decoration and glazing techniques with extended demonstrations throughout. You will learn how to translate and communicate your project ideas and develop designs for Ceramics objects with guidance from the tutor. Learners will gain a transferable ?sketchbook habit? that will continue to underpin further studies in Art & Design.

Requirements

Learners with Level 1 Ceramics (or equivalent level of experience). Acceptance on to the course is through application only. Evidence of research and drawing skills will be required. You will need level 1 English. .
