Overview

The units are structured around four themes:

Description

Learners must achieve:

23 mandatory units – internally assessed through tasks set by CACHE and a longitudinal study. Learners will also be assessed in the work place and will need to achieve all the assessment criteria to pass the Diploma.

Placement is a mandatory requirement of this course learners are required to complete a minimum 350 hours with placement experience achieved in different age ranges 0-1 years 11 months, 2-2years 11months and 3-5years.

Relevant level 2 childcare qualification

GCSE Maths and English Language grade C or above

A Clear enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Voluntary placement / employment in Early years setting minimum 2 days /week
