Overview

The Edexcel Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introductory teaching qualification that prepares learners for teaching in a wide range of contexts. This qualification will give learners an introduction to the requirements within the lifelong learning sector; It does not qualify a learner to become a teacher, but gives the basic knowledge and understanding of the requirements of a teacher. The qualification runs over 4 days; the first two days consisting of workshop delivery, the third day an assessment session, where learners will deliver their own micro teach session to their peers. The final day is a tutorial day where all final assessments are completed including a micro-teach session, with peers and a Tutor assessment.

Requirements

There is a requirement to complete a short initial assessment and CV, before commencement of the programme.
