Advanced Certificate in British Sign Language - Level 3
Wouldn’t it be great to understand sign language? To understand the feelings and emotions of the deaf and mute people and to just have a simple communication to bond with them is priceless and the Advanced Certificate in British Sign Language – Level 3 will help you with just that. This course program is mostly targeted at individuals in Britain and will show you how to converse with the deaf and mute people using the British sign language, provided you have a very basic knowledge and idea of it.
The course modules are packed with PDFs, documents and videos that will not fail in helping you master the BSL in a matter of days. This course will rely the common sign languages that you know and will show you what it means and how to put it into a coherent sentence. You will also get access to chapters that will help you with the signs used in meetings and greetings.
Once you discover how to express your feelings and emotions using signs, you will move onto learn how to convey numbers, weather, colours, clothes, animals among other things using the BSL. The course curriculum is also designed to explore the technology and modifications that are available for the deaf people in the modern world, all the while exposing you to a wealth of tips and tricks on improving signing skills and communication.
The course has been endorsed under the Quality Licence Scheme. This means that Global Edulink* has undergone an external quality check to ensure that the organisation and the courses it offers, meet defined quality criteria. The completion of this course alone does not lead to a regulated qualification* but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills gained. The Learner Unit Summary may be used as evidence towards Recognition of Prior Learning if you wish to progress your studies in this subject. To this end the learning outcomes of the course have been benchmarked at Level 3against level descriptors published by Ofqual, to indicate the depth of study and level of demand/complexity involved in successful completion by the learner.
The course itself has been designed by Global Edulink* to meet specific learners’ and/or employers’ requirements which cannot be satisfied through current regulated qualifications. The Quality Licence Scheme endorsement involves robust and rigorous quality audits by external auditors to ensure quality is continually met. A review of courses is carried out as part of the endorsement process.
Students will be issued an official cover letter stating that you have completed 20 CPD hours at the completion of your Advanced Certificate in British Sign Language - Level 3 course.

Access duration
The course will be directly delivered to you, and you have Lifetime access to the online learning platform from the date you joined the course. The course is self-paced and you can complete it in stages, revisiting the lectures at any time.
Entry requirements
- Learners should be age 19 or over, and must have a basic understanding of Maths, English, and ICT.
- A recognised qualification at level 2 or above in any discipline.
Method of Assessment
This online course is assignment-based with learners being assessed upon the submission of a series of assignments. Once you successfully submit the assignments, students will gain a professional qualification. The assignments must be submitted to the instructor through the online learning portal. The assignments will be reviewed and evaluated, with feedback provided to the student on how well they have fared.
Please Note: Additionally, a total of £69 is charged for the assessment and certificate, and you need to pay that when submitting your assessments only (It is not required to pay initially upon registering). This payment can be made in 02 installments.
Certification
the Quality Licence Scheme will provide successful learners with a Certificate of Achievement and a Learner Unit Summary, which lists the units completed by the learner through this course.
