We are the only accredited provider of specialised health and social care train the trainer qualifications at Level 4 within the UK.
We are the only accredited provider who can offer the highest level qualification in “Care Sector Instruction”, delegates are awarded with a Level 4 Diploma in Care Sector Instruction on completion of our modular train the trainer programme.
Approximately one in four adults in the UK will be diagnosed with a mental health issue at some point in their lives. Although this figure indicates that most people will have first-hand experience of mental distress whether it be themselves or someone they know, many people with mental ill-health face stigma and discrimination.
This distance learning training programme will help to raise awareness of mental health, promoting a more positive approach and enabling learners to challenge the negative attitudes and stereotyping that discourages some people from seeking the appropriate help and support required.
Description
Our training course is delivered by distance learning, and comprises one mandatory unit to complete, learners will then be awarded the Award in Mental Health Awareness - QCF Level 1:

Course delivery and assessment
Our training programme materials comprise an activity workbook, which has been produced to suit a wide range of learners. Health and social care staff are provided with all the necessary workbooks to complete the programme and will be required to work through a series of tasks and activities designed to reinforce the learning process and test their knowledge prior to being awarded with the Level 1 Award in Mental Health Awareness (QCF) qualification.
