Overview

Learn audio transcription skills with Pitman Training in London and Manchester.

This is a must have skill for secretaries and PAs, particularly those who work in the medical or legal sector.

We have two levels of audio typing, so beginners and experienced users of audio typing can improve their skills here.

The course itself takes the average student 15 hours to complete, although this is not limited as it is a flexible, self-paced course.

You'll study in your own time, working through the course at one of our training centres in London's Holborn and Notting Hill, or in Manchester.

Our experienced training team will be on hand at all times to help you if you get stuck.

Description

We offer two Audio Transcription courses:

Audio Transcription 1: This is aimed at beginners, and comprises of 6 lessons. You'll learn how to operate the transcriber, how to transcribe sentences, business letters, reports and memos.

Audio Transcription 2: This also covers transcribing a variety of documents, and focuses on increasing your speed.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
