Overview

To provide the knowledge and skills in order to become an ASD Lead Auditor, capable of leading 9100-series audits; and to act as a pre-requisite foundation in order to become an ASD Authenticated Auditor (AA) or Authenticated Experienced Auditor (AEA).

Description

You will develop the knowledge and skill required to establish an audit plan and conduct a full audit of an organization’s Aerospace Quality Management System (AQMS) to AS/EN9100.

Gain the confidence to effectively audit an AQMS in accordance with internationally recognized best practice techniques.

Learn how to lead audit the processes of an AS/EN9100 Aerospace Quality Management System in order to determine conformity and effectiveness.

Who is this course for?

Students who complete this IAQG Aerospace Quality Management System (AQMS), Aviation, Space and Defense (ASD) Lead Auditor Course successfully will have completed the baseline requirements to becoming an authenticated auditor as defined in 9104/3.

Requirements

Before starting this course, learners are expected to have the following prior knowledge:

a) Management systems

  • The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
  • The core elements of a management system and the interrelationship between top management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, review and continuous improvement.

b) Quality management

  • The fundamental concepts and the seven quality management principles (see ISO 9000):
    1. Customer focus
    2. Leadership
    3. Engagement of people
    4. Process approach
    5. Improvement
    6. Evidence-based decision making
    7. Relationship management

c) AS/EN 9100
