Overview

The laws specified in the Licensing Act 2003 and supporting regulations, (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) Order 2010, apply to all premises in England and Wales involved in the retail sale of alcohol, the supply of alcohol in club premises, the provision of public entertainment or the provision of late night refreshment. This learning plan covers all the key elements and provisions of the Act and the roles of Personal Licence Holders and Designated Premises Supervisors and is designed to give a learner all the knowledge needed to pass the licencing exam and gain their personal licence.
