Overview

*** FEB SALE NOW ON! ***

The AAT level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting is ideal for students who have successfully studied the AAT level 3 Diploma in Accounting and are looking to progress their studies to becoming an AAT Accountant. You can also begin your studies at level 4 if you already hold a full finance and accountancy degree.

The AAT level 4 elevates level 3 studies to senior level management accounting. In level 2 and 3 studies revolved around daily accounting procedures up to drafting Financial Statements at year-end.

AAT level 4, studies are split into mandatory units and optional units. In both instances, the information prepared in compliance with legal and professional rules, has strong financial management reporting influences. You'll study complex management accounting reports to ensure company finances are managed for growth and long-term profitability.

From the outset of your AAT level 4 course with Gold Edge Training, your course support, resources, delivery & timetables will be tailored to meet your personal goals and ambitions.

Our bespoke programmes embrace your individuality as a learner. We support your natural style of learning to ensure it flourishes and drives the successful outcome of your studies.

Our fusion of learning materials and learning methods, guarantee equal learning opportunities to all students regardless of their natural learning style preference. Our programmes meet the full requirements of auditory, visual, kinaesthetic and reflective learning ensuring stress free, optimum study for all. Using the right resources to meet your preferred learning style will halve the complexity of what you learn.

In addition to our expert teaching support, every student is offered individual ‘key to success’ coaching, which is another unique dimension to achieving exam success. For our students, ‘key to success’ coaching is an essential support throughout their studies and a strong contributory factor in their exam success.

We also understand that knowing how to study effectively is not a natural process for many. Likewise, being able to learn at optimum levels, in all lessons, is a skill few people are born with. ‘Key to success’ coaching corrects this by supporting learners to understand and develop their own natural ability to learn.

When you learn from multiple resources and methods, your depth of understanding increases, which strengthens your ability to recall.

Live online classroom

We offer live classroom sessions in the day and evening for levels 2 and 3. Watching live lessons best suits auditory and visual learners. The live sessions are also recorded to meet personal availability and the learning style of kinaesthetic and reflective learners. Learning how to adapt resources to suit how you learn best will enhance your learning experience and increase your knowledge absorption. All recordings can be multi-watched for deeper understanding.

Online interactive content

All students, based on their natural learning style, will prefer or lead with different learning resources. We offer a full online range of workbooks, animations, interactive questions and videos in addition to the live classroom and hardcopy books. Amongst the online resources you will find PowerPoint presentations, additional manual question banks and practice exams.

FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
