  • Kaplan hard copy study textbooks & exam kit books
  • Optimum learning is balanced learning. With Gold Edge you benefit from learning in different ways to increase the depth of your understanding. You have the opportunity to study manually from the Kaplan study textbooks and exam kit books included in your course package. In addition, you will study through recorded or live tutor led lectures. Your third method of study is online via our extensive interactive online learning platform. Here you can learn and constantly test your understanding as you learn. Your fourth method of learning is through your one to one coaching support and 7 days a week technical question tutor support. Each of these methods of learning allow you to use different skills to study and absorb bookkeeping and accountancy skills. Collectively, this delivers a deeper and broader understanding than you would get from an other provider.
  • Recorded & Live online classroom. We offer live classroom sessions in the day and evening for The AAT Levels 2, 3 and 4 qualifications.
  • Online interactive content.
  • Four-stage revision programme. As every lesson has a beginning middle and end known as overviewing the topic, followed by formative learning and concluded with summative assessment. The full study of each individual unit of the AAT Level 2 foundation certificate, AAT Level 3 Diploma and AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma courses also have two stages of knowledge building. The learning phase and the exam ready phase.
    • Our unique four-stages of revision firstly tests your depth of understanding to ensure it is sufficient. Secondly, we transform your ability to answer questions as you learn to completing the very different exam type questions. For the third stage we give you live/recorded exam preparation lectures and finally, the fourth stage is practice, practice, practice with mock exams. Our high pass rates are not achieved by chance, they are designed into every element of each AAT qualification that we deliver.

Proud to have above National Average pass rates: Level 2, 95% (NA - 75.10%). Level 3, 80% (NA - 58.90%). Level 4, 85% (NA - 63%).

FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
