New: Discount codes usage rules

Are you advertising a Reed Courses discount code in your course listing? You should read this… 

To ensure we can control, run, and maintain our promotional periods and campaigns effectively, we’re now restricting the advertisement of Reed Courses discount codes in course listings.

Here’s everything you need to know:  

What’s changed? 

From the 3rd May 2023, you’ll no longer be able to include Reed Courses discount codes in your course listing(s).

This rule applies to all course providers and Reed Courses discount codes (both current and expired).

What happens next? 

If none of your course listings feature Reed Courses discount codes, you won’t need to do anything and this change won’t affect you.

From 3rd May 2023, the Reed Courses discount code rule will apply when:

• Posting new courses: If you try to add a Reed Courses discount code to a new course listing, you’ll receive an error message and will be required to remove the code before you’re able to save your changes. 

• Editing existing courses: Attempting to save changes on a course listing which already includes a Reed Courses discount code will result in an error message. To save changes as normal, the discount code must be removed.
