The second phase of reed.co.uk’s 2015 brand advertising campaign kicks off this weekend, with a major national TV sponsorship with Channel 5.
The deal sees reed.co.uk branding take over Channel 5’s ident messaging, which runs between TV programmes. The new creative is an extension of the popular TV commercials we launched at the start of the year and that have run through January, February and March.
The sponsorship will run with the strapline ‘Helping Britain Love Mondays’, further underlining reed.co.uk’s position as the nation’s favourite job site. It will be on air from the end of March until mid-June, appearing before major TV shows, including prime-time programming, every Sunday and Monday. And we believe it’s a world first too: the only TV ident to feature a winking llamacorn. [See stills below]
The campaign, which runs nationally, will be seen by more than 12 million adults and will include many of Channel 5’s biggest shows.
The first weekend includes movies (Happy Feet, Around The World In 80 Days), factual programming (The Gadget Show, World’s Scariest Animal Attacks, The Hotel Inspector), drama (Person of Interest) and soaps (Home & Away), all of which will add further reach and diversity to our audience.
The spring also sees our campaign extend to video-on-demand services, with a major campaign running throughout April on 4OD, ITV Player, Demand 5 and Sky Go, as we promote reed.co.uk to catch-up viewers on mobile, tablet, desktop and smart TV.
The ads will run as pre-roll (before programming) and mid-show and will, once again, give our campaign significant coverage, particularly amongst a desirable and hard-to-reach audience of graduates and young people.
