Love Island 2018 TV advertising campaign: how we’re attracting the right ‘sort’ of talent

This week saw the launch of Love Island’s new season on ITV and, with an expected audience of more than 3 million viewers a night, we’ll be there too.

Here’s how our summer ad campaign is targeting the early careers talent your business is looking for.

Last summer saw Love Island become one of the most popular and talked-about shows on TV for 16-34 year olds and it’s already breaking records this year.

Monday night’s launch episode peaked at over 3.5 million viewers, with an average 1.5 million viewers aged 16 to 34.

Our campaign, which starts on Saturday 9 June, covers national TV and ITV Player, running all the way until the final on 30th July.

And that’s not all…

TV isn’t the only place we’ll be making the reed.co.uk brand known.

We’ll be also be amplifying our social media presence whilst our Love Island campaign is in full swing – with brand new video content running over Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (feed and stories) and Snapchat.

This includes engaging vox pops of the public’s perspective on Mondays, along with promotional clips that feature university students and soon-to-be-grads using the reed.co.uk jobseeker app.

Not only will these videos boost reed.co.uk’s visibility across social platforms, it will also encourage graduates to download the app and register with reed.co.uk.
