You asked. We listened…
We’re always listening to feedback from candidates and recruiters about how we can improve our services.
Here’s a summary of some of the newest features we’ve released to help you use reed.co.uk to find your perfect hire:
Candidates can check their commute
Jobseekers can now see how long their commute will be when viewing details of a job in our mobile app.
By helping candidates make more informed applications, you’ll benefit from spending less time reviewing irrelevant applicants from beyond a practical catchment area.
Abandoned application reminders
Just like those abandoned basket reminders you get when you’re shopping online, we now send jobseekers reminder emails when they’ve started a job application but haven’t completed it.
So whether they only got half way through the process before something else came up, or they wanted to tweak their CV and forgot to come back and apply, we’ve got your candidates covered.
Better location matching for CV Search
We’ve completely reworked the way we determine locations when you search for CVs – making the service more intuitive and results more accurate.
For example, searching ‘London’ will automatically display all candidates living inside London’s perimeter, meaning there’s no need to add any extra info (e.g. ‘10 miles’ radius).
No more irrelevant results. No more wasting time on the wrong staff.
Before- London +5 mile radius After- London 0 mile radius
More filters for the mobile app
One of the most requested features jobseekers ask to be added to the app is the ability to filter jobs by date posted.
As a result, candidates can now choose either to order by relevance or by date, so they no longer have to sift through roles they may already have seen.
Users can also choose to search without a keyword – meaning they’ll just be shown the very latest roles on offer, regardless of industry.
