Youth Worker Working in Education - Wolverhampton - ASAP

I am currently recruiting for a behaviour and social, emotional mental health pupil referral unit in Wolverhampton that are looking to appoint some new SEND support staff with challenging behaviour and social, emotional mental health experience to join their team. The positions is to cover day to day and short and long term bookings. They are seeking people that have experience of working with SEND children with challenging behaviour and social, emotional mental health. The role will need you to be resilient and confident. As a Learning Support Assistant with Youth Worker experience you will be working alongside the class Teacher and other staff supporting pupils with everyday school life, however, there will be times that you will need to be supporting children on a one to one and small groups bases independently. You will be a source of support for pupils and will ensure they are motivated, happy and engaged.

The school caters for children with a wide range of needs including challenging behaviour, social, emotional mental health and autism. The school caters for KS4 aged pupils.

The successful candidate will bring at least 1 years of experience to the role and a desire to work with children with SEND or similar background. You will be empathetic and determined to make a difference.

I am happy to be working with this school as they really care about their students and staff. It is a very large school and they have so many facilities for their pupils. There are many support staff employed in the school and everyone has a really good work ethic.
