Youth Support Worker- Waking nights- Bedfordshire and surrounding areas
Your new company
A well established provider of children/ youth support located in Bedfordshire and various regions across the UK. Your new company are looking for waking night cover 7 days a week for a period of 1-3 months.
Your new role
You will be supporting young individuals who have recently left care promoting independent living and light reassurance. You will be responsible for ensuring the service user is home by their curfew, up by a certain time and can carry out home duties effectively.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a passion for working with young people, have at least 6 months experience working in a children's setting as a support worker. You will ideally hold a NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People, be personable and adaptable. In this role you will be able to create strong trusting relationships with the service users who you'll be working with.
