Youth Project Co-ordinator (Part Time 7 hours per week)

Lyng Community Association, a small housing association in West Bromwich has been successful in gaining a Children in Need grant to run a youth project across the estate.

In order to deliver the project aims we are looking to recruit a Project Co-Ordinator.The Project Co- Ordinator will be required to support Youth Workers in co-ordinating and arranging activities and events as determined by the Senior Youth Worker, ensure all project administration is completed accurately and filed appropriately, record and monitor spend against budget, collate participant information and prepare reports as appropriate.

The hours are 7 per week, ideally on a Tuesday, however there is some degree of flexibility due to activities and events taking place on evenings and weekends.

The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, prioritise work, time manage, show initiative and strong self management are integral to meeting the requirements of the role.

Applicants will need to have excellent IT and administration skills, ideally some experience of project and budget management and be able to deliver short and long term project aims as initiated by the Senior Youth Worker.
