Young Person Support Practitioner

CF Support Services Limited offer caring family support to young people and their families. Our workers are exceptional, and we are looking for both male and female workers to expand our team.

About the role

You will be helping to support children and young people who have a variety of needs. You may be supporting a child with a disability or behavioural issues. Some personal care may be required. You will need to be friendly, patient and reliable.

You will need to be able to travel to visit the families and sometimes you will take the young people out into the community. Please note that travel will be required in and around the county for this role. The nature of this work is that the times are variable, so flexibility is required to cover weekends, mornings and evenings.

Requirements

A qualification in care or experience in similar work is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. The key skills our young people ask for is that their carers are reliable, fun and friendly. The work is very rewarding as you are truly making a difference to a young person’s life.

As you are required to travel for this position, we do ask that you have access to your own vehicle and have (or be willing to obtain) business use insurance, a valid MOT and breakdown cover.

You will need to pass an enhanced DBS check for this position.

We are offering multiple contract types including:-

  • Zero-hours
  • Independent (Self-Employed)
  • Full-time
  • Part-time

Please note that our zero-hours and independent roles are paid based on an hourly rate. Our full-time and part-time roles are salaried at £18,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time).
