TUI UK & I has developed a market leading yield management system that is used by the Commercial team to help them to manage pricing across everything they sell. The success of the system means that it is being recognised as a group software product and rolled out across other markets.

As part of the development we are creating a more professional support function to work with the trading team to answer questions and resolve issues. Therefore, the Yield Support Analyst will be responsible for supporting queries from the system users and either resolving or escalating where required.

As this is a new role there will be a requirement to work with the General Manager of Yield Development to create a professional and highly effective support team, developing best practice as required. As a key part of the highly regarded Commercial Analytics team and with exposure to senior people across trading, this role offers excellent potential for development both within and outside of the team.

What you will be doing

As a Yield Support Analyst you will support the General Manager of Yield Development in building a strong and professional support function for our yield management system. Initially you will assist with defining best practices and new processes as part of improving the existing support function.

As part of the mature support function you will provide first line support to system users to resolve issues or escalate as required. This could involve conducting initial investigations into issues and managing updates on progress to business users and ensuring effective case management. You will also provide reporting and analysis on performance of the system and the status of system issues.

You will develop a broad understanding of the yield management system to resolve issues quickly without requiring escalation. You will also be involved in the data setup of the system for new seasons.

What we are looking for

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and client management skills
• Quick learner, curious and an ability to develop an understanding of a complex system
• The ability to work on own initiative and solve problems without needing direct management
• Experience in supporting software or a complex system
• Strong skills in MS applications including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
• An understanding of tour operating and yield management and ability to understand commercial risks/benefits of system issues.
• Experience in using SQL an advantage
