Interventions teaching opportunity in primary school in central Derby
Your new company
Hays Education are currently working with a small primary school in central Derby that are looking to appoint a Year 6 Teacher for teaching and interventions to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. This position does have potential to go permanent if it suits both parties.
Your new role
You will be sharing responsibility and working closely with the Year 6 Teacher in the school. In the mornings you will be teaching 5 year 6 children and in the afternoon you will be teaching 13 years 6 children. The school are looking for somebody that can help lower ability children make progress.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates applying for this post must hold qualified teacher status, exceptional newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply for this post. The school are looking for somebody that can effectively work with lower ability children and can prepare children for SATS. The school are looking for people that are passionate about teaching and can effectively work in a team.
