OFSTED "good" primary school in Burnley seeking a Teacher for their year 6 class.

Your new company
Your new workplace is a mainstream, one form entry primary school in the Burnley area. The school have recently achieved an OFSTED "good" rating, but the SLT have ambitions of becoming an "OUTSTANDING" school.

Your new role
As a year 6 Teacher, you will guide a diverse group of students through the curriculum and prepare them for their SAT examinations. This will involve class preparation and lesson delivery as well as 1:1 mentoring to ensure no pupils fall behind. You may have the support of a Teaching Assistant, where required. The role is initially temporary, with a view to being made permanent - subject to performance.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application, you must posses Qualified Teacher Status and have experience Teaching at Primary or Secondary level (KS1-KS4). Experience as part of a Teaching placement will also be considered, so newly qualified teachers (NQT) should be encouraged to apply.
