This 3-form entry Outstanding primary school in the Blackheath area of South East London are currently looking for a year 6 intervention teacher to join the team focusing on preparing small groups of high achieving students for their SATs. The position is full time for 4 weeks after Easter leading up to the SATs. The equivalent annual salary is up to £39,006.

The Headteacher is keen to recruit a year 6 intervention teacher to join the team after Easter in the 4 weeks leading up to SATs. You will be an additional teacher therefore instead of having your own class, you will support high achieving students in smaller focus groups.
The year 6 intervention teacher must:
*Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
*Be experienced teaching children in year 6
*Have good knowledge and understanding of key stage 2 SATs
*Challenge learners and commit to upholding high standards
*Have a positive work ethic and offer support to others
