Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a full-time Teacher in Hillingdon for a Y5 Teaching post starting for the summer term
This is a school that is linked with an Infant and Nursery school in the same village. They look to keep strong links with the community surrounding the school. They have two new classrooms built in 2013 which have been part of a school expansion. They maintain very close links to a number of Australian groups around London through various ANZAC organisations due to its rich history going back to the 1st World War.
The school aims to help pupils develop a lively and enquiring mind and to apply themselves to tasks to the best of their ability. They want each student to have high aspirations and respect for others of all backgrounds.
The school are currently rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted and the Headteacher is looking for a teacher that is inspirational, effective and provides relevant learning which maximises all children's development.
As a Y5 Teacher, you will be expected to contribute and teach the curriculum in KS2 with a sound background knowledge of learning at this level. You must be able to use this knowledge to extend the students learning at every opportunity
You will be able to deliver engaging lessons that challenge the students and have excellent differentiation skills. You will have a positive approach to teaching and learning, with strong behaviour management and a proactive attitude.
NQTs will be considered for this post and Overseas Trained Teachers can also be considered. Especially Australians and New Zealanders due to the ANZAC background.
