Year 5 Teacher Job, Borough of Croydon, April Start
I am currently working with a friendly school in the Croydon area, who are seeking a committed and dedicated teacher to join their team. The role is initially a summer term contract, from April to the end of the academic year, with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate.
About the role:
You will be teaching a Year 5 class of mixed ability pupils. There are a standard range of SEN and EAL needs, but all of the pupils are keen to learn and there are no behavioural issues to be aware of. It is important that you are able to independently plan and deliver a varied and balanced curriculum, which engages and motivates all pupils to achieve to the best of their ability.

You will be joining a school with an excellent reputation, situated in the outskirts of Croydon. The school has a strong Christian ethos, with children at the heart, and pupils are very well mannered and well behaved. Parents are heavily invested in their children's learning, and work collaboratively with teachers to ensure that pupils flourish academically and socially. The school has excellent facilities, including a large playground and IT suite.
In order to be considered for this role, you should have at least 2 valid teaching references, and have previous Key Stage 2 teaching experience, preferably in Year 5.
