An Ofsted graded 'Good' school (Feb 2015) in the central borough of Islington area is seeking an experienced Year 4 teacher to start with them on a full-time basis in September 2018. The role would involve teaching as part of a keen and committed one form entry staff team, with a very supportive senior leadership team available to assist with teaching and learning. The headteacher is looking for someone who has good knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and can implement good assessment techniques, whilst developing good relationships with already very supportive parents. The school is a short walk from Angel station, or a short bus from Kings Cross St Pancras.
The successful candidate for this role would be responsible for teaching well-behaved and responsive class of only 19 pupils, some of whom are very able and achieving above age-related expectations.
