Year 4 teacher, Hendon Central, Barnet
Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a 2-form entry primary school in Hendon Central.
They are looking for a primary trained KS2 teacher to join their established team as a Year 4 class teacher.
The position is due to start after February half-term 2018.
The position has arisen as the current teach is relocating. The class itself has been described by the head as 'lovely' and they are a high achieving group of students.

You would be taking on a class of 29 Year 4 students. The class has a full-time TA, in addition to an LSA who works with a boy with moderate learning difficulties. Planning is done collaboratively with the other Year 4 class teacher, and a lot of the planning for the next half-term has already been done. They have a specialist teacher for MFL and for PE. You would have the option to join these lessons for CPD purposes.
This is a 2 form entry primary school that has a good reputation within the borough. There is a fantastic support mechanism within the school along with excellent CPD opportunities. They pride themselves on ensure that teachers are well prepared and continuously learning to enhance how they teach in order to extend pupils. The school has a high retention rate of staff, and aim to promote internally.
Visitors to the school often comment on the excellent student behaviour, and the children are eager to learn.
They offer a breakfast and after-school club for students, in addition to wide variety of activities and specialist clubs. You would have the option to establish your own club if desired.
The school is well located near Hendon Central station, and there are also several buses that stop just near the school. There is a car park, in addition to street parking close by.
