An opportunity has arisen to join a welcoming and dynamic Primary School in Manchester. The position is a Key Stage 2 class teaching role, specifically in Year 4. This is a full-time and long-term position for 5 days per week. Working hours would be from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM. You will be dedicated to providing a safe and happy classroom, where children are motivated to learn.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one ( we can help with this ).
- PGCE & QTS.
- Good knowledge and experience of the UK national curriculum.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent planning and organization skills.
Your responsibilities will include
- Lesson planning to ensure the KS2 - Year 4 curriculum is met
- Adapting to different ages and stages of learning
- Communicating effectively with children, staff, parents and carers
- Safeguarding children
- Setting, marking and giving feedback on work/homework
