Year 3 Teaching Assistant

Primary School in Birmingham is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to help in a classroom in year 3. The position will start in March 2018 on a part time basis until the end of the academic year.

You will need to have the following experience of working within a classroom environment, have previously worked on a 1:1 level with students that have (Special Needs / Moderate Learning Disability)

These students will need your support in encouraging them to engage within their learning development. You will need a good understanding of the national curriculum and phonics' which you can implement into your teaching for when you teach small groups of pupils.

You will need to plan and deliver Literacy and Numeracy interventions which you can teach smalls groups of children which are underachieving in reaching their learning targets.

* Minimum of Level 3 in Education / Childhood studies
