Tradewind Recruitment current working in collaboration with an Outstanding Primary School in Kensington and Chelsea to recruit a Year 2 Teaching Assistant.

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an upbeat and proactive Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will be working in a Year 2 class supporting the class teacher with teaching and learning. The school are looking for a year 2 Teaching Assistant who can start after Easter half term and continue until July 2018. This position will require you to work Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30pm. The daily rate of pay for this role will be £75.00 per day. The school is based in Kensington and Chelsea near Earls Court.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
*Previous experience supporting pupils in Key Stage One
*Good knowledge and understanding of differentiation
*Excellent behaviour management strategies
*A fun an engaging practitioner
*A hardworking and proactive practitioner

This exciting opportunity will require you to work in a Year 2 class providing support to the teacher and pupils during all lessons. Behaviour in the Year 2 class is excellent and pupils enjoy learning. The Year 2 class are working at a high learning level and will often complete tasks quickly and effectively. The right person for this role will have excellent literacy and numeracy skills and have previous experience supporting gifted and talented pupils. There will be a few pupils in class who are not reaching expected targets and will require additional support during lessons.

The school is easily accessible from North and South London being located close to the Piccadilly Line.

To be considered for this position the school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has previous experience working in a school setting.
The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas police Clearances and professional reference checks.
