Year 2 Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in Primary School within the Local area of Aston. You will be assisting pupils in Year 2 during their SAT's, these pupils will need help in engaging within their learning environment.

The Position will start in February 2018 fulltime until the end of the academic year, it is essential that you have experience in working with Phonics' and relaying read write Inc.
You will be required to teach small groups of pupils Literacy and Numeracy interventions, you must work on a 1:1 level with pupils that require extra support to achieve their targets. During lessons you will supervise and provide support for pupils, you may be asked to record assessment data and report back to the classroom Teacher.

The Primary School prides themselves on making sure all pupils achieve their targets and leave with the correct knowledge, and having a strong senior leadership to support. They are looking for someone who is confident in planning and delivering interventions to children. Patient and able to make progress to a child's learning development.
