We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Year 2 Teacher to inspire and nurture our young learners. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a positive and stimulating learning environment, fostering a solid foundation for academic achievement. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will commence in January on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and age-appropriate lessons in line with the curriculum
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies
• Maintain effective communication with parents to ensure a strong home-school partnership
• Participate actively in school events, meetings, and professional development activities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience as a Primary Year 2 Teacher
• Sound understanding of the primary curriculum
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Passion for fostering a positive and engaging learning environment
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
