Teach Plus are currently working with a 2-3 form entry, primary school located in Islington who are seeking a Year 2 Class Teacher to start ASAP.

The school is friendly, caring, and welcoming, and rated 'Good'. The pupils behave well in the school, they are polite and respectful. The management of the school are supportive of staff's well-being and workload.

As a Year 2 Class Teacher you will be required to:

• Take on full Year 2 Class Teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessments
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
• Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression
• Attend meetings and INSET days to further support the internal development of the school

The ideal candidate for the Year 2 Class Teacher role will have:

• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Recent KS1 experience, either within student placements or responsible for your own class
• A strong work ethic who is willing to commit until the end of the academic year
• UK recognised Teaching Qualification with QTS
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
