This vacancy is designed for an imaginative Year 1 Teacher who has a forward-thinking, creative teaching philosophy. The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have the ability to inspire all pupils in their class with engaging, informative lessons designed to ensure all pupils remain on task. This Year 1 Teacher post requires a candidate who has the skills to effectively manage behaviour to keep all students on task and set standards of behaviour for the remainder of their school career. As a Year 1 Teacher you will be supporting a lively Year 1 Class as they make the transition from Early Years Education. NQTs will be provided an academic mentor from the SLT to guide and support them through their induction year, while experienced teachers will be able to take on additional responsibilities in the form of subject and year group lead TLRs.
