Working with established Key Stage 1 department with outstanding teachers
January Start - Maternity cover for 2 Terms at least.
Teaching Personnel are working with a good Primary School in the Kersal area of Salford, M7, to look for a Year 1, Key Stage 2 NQT to join their junior department from January. The position of year 1 teacher will be to cover a maternity leave from January and will be for either 2 or 3 terms.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a recently graded "Good" school under the new OFSTED framework. This flagship school within the Kersal area of Salford offer great facilities and a support network within their Key Stage 1 department. With a focus on phonics and creative, cross-curricular approach to teaching, the school's facilities are second to none to allow for a high standard of teaching and learning.
As a Year 1 teacher, experience of teaching using a cross-curricular approach and confidence to build in nurture and social aspects of learning to your teaching would be beneficial. In addition, a passion for working with mixed ability and high levels of SEN children would serve you well. In return, the school would offer either a newly qualified teacher all the support and CPD possible. You would be shadowing outstanding teachers within KS1 from mid November in order to allow for a smooth transition.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
